The Economical Load Balancer is a linux based router solution for home and
small business users. Load balancers are network devices that present a point
of connection to a service and then redirect the traffic to one of many back-end
servers, or nodes. This allows for the traffic load to be shared between several
machines or internet connections leading to an increase in network performance.
By providing an advanced set of enterprise-level features in software and using
low cost linux router hardware, users can afford a better router without the high
price.
